Fight for as much cash as possible, don't let them low ball you. They will use some wholesale pricing system to give you $2500 and expect you to be content.

Here it would be about $250.00 but you remove the fuel tank, if going for scrap a junk yard will give about the same. But the insurance co uses a different formula

Right now clean steel/iron is $4.50 per 100lbs. If you dont get the most from isurance, buy it back then part it out. You'll make up the difference.

Mustang, yeah the drivers side frame rail is bent, dunno about the other side, cant see it.... my sister said the motor kept running after the crash, so i know it still runs, but with the radiator and everything shoved up against it, im not sure what is all broke.

Im hoping that they give ne what f150 cam got, the retail value minus my deductible and the scrap value. Not sure yet if i want to part it out... if the frame is only bent in the front part, i may be able to cut the bent section off and weld another in, but thats only if the bend stops before the control arm brackets.... if not, im not sure if it can be fixed.

If the insurance rules in your favor you shouldn't pay a deductible
