I need to replace my transfer case and have worked for hours trying to get my torsion bars off. I have banged on them with hammers and sprayed them down multiple times and cannot get them to move. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get these off.

 

I've read in here an air hammer works great for this problem...

heat them with a torch then air hammer...worked for me
