Default Torsion bars

My friend wants to level her 98 and I've told her about cranking the T bars and she's not too sure about it. Can someone explain it well because she's confused and I don't know enough about doing it. Please and thank you.

It just raises the front end a couple inches, I had mine tightened up all the way, people say now to do it, but I'm the type of guy if you tell me not to something, I will more then likley do it if it does not make sense as to why I should not do it.

EDIT: It does make the ride a bit stiffer as well.

Are you also the type of guy who likes replacing ball joints every 5,000 miles

Well, my truck makes me by throwing tires out or something, last night a bolt in tha caliper came off, so the caliper came off screwing up my rotor and yet another ball joint, maybe the tie-rod, haven't looked yet.
