Torque Converter
well thinking my torque converting is going kapooie but i was wondering whats the best prices and what kind of converter you would suguest in getting.

What makes you think your tc is going bad? It could be a bad stator, and depending on your mileage you may need a rebuild, which should always contain a new tc or a rebuilt one.

why i am thinking my tc is going is becuase as i am cruzin dwn the highway my truck will start to skake like crazy so i turn the O/D off and it seems to clear up and i am at 142k miles its an 03 5.4

Maybe and Maybe Not:
Before you go to the trouble of replacing the TC check the MAF sensor. When it goes on the fritz it causes all kinds of slams and bangs as if you're running over railroad ties.

So its only doing it in overdrive? Check engine light on? Could be a $25 coil pack bad on one of the cylinders. One bad coil/cop can make the truck shake and shutter especially in overdrive at low rpms.
