you guys could always get one of those small trapezoid shaped boxes. They're the proper high for a below the rails toolbox but half the size, so if you're carrying just the essentials you'll be good to go

I got a guy. hes selling his toolbox for 150 shipped. I think ill get it. if i need my bed, Ill use the extender. all those other boxes...just wouldnt look right on mine. plus i dont have 350 to drop on it.
