Tool box sample pics....
it's a Delta box, I got from my neighbor. I can get the dimensions if needed. Ya it is nice to have it below the rails, til you need something out of it and the soft tonneau is done up. But it is what I wanted.
sorry, didn't want to jack the thread there jwterry3

I want to get a weatherguard for mine but they are not cheap. was looking at the husky boxes at home depot. they are made by tradesman truck & seem pretty decent for the money (under 300). they have a low profile one too.
the reason I wanted a weatherguard is I had one before, the only box that doesn't leak! sold it when I bought the B2500 b/c it wouldn't fit.
Dad & I had delta, dee zee, cheapo generic brand (plastic / steel / aluminum) boxes in the past: they all leaked & the steel ones rot out (even the steel weatherguard did!). other than the gas springs going bad (they all do) is the only issue with weatherguards over the years.

I have one from tractor supply also. But mine is custom made for my supercrew. It sits 6 inches from being on the bed floor and about 3 over the bedrails...... Its diamondplate and cost round 1200
