Default Tires!

Hey guys!

I have a 2000 F150 XL 4x4. Right now I believe I have the stock size tires on it. They are Toyo open Country tires which are more like a car tire then anything else.

Just wondering, what size can I go to without any issues??? I was pondering a 285/75/16 but would also consider a 265/75/16. What would be best!

285/75 is just about as big as you can go with out rub issues most of the time. my 97 f150 4x4 required me to shave 1/2in of plastic gaurd in one corner from my bumper took 2 secs other than that 285/75/16 fit just fine.
