tires

As you know the size of tire on a 2002 f150 is 235/70/16. I can get 4 265/70/16 for a good price. My question is are the rims wide enough for that width? Thanks

You can go up to 285 before the wear in the middle is accelerated

so friggin glad i read this post, the 235/70/16 seems to be an odd size tire IMO for the truck not to mention its difficult to find a used tire that size thats in good shape.
