What size tires can you fit under a stock 2wd f150 98 model?

I put 200K mi. on a silver 99 f150 2wd and I ran 285/75/16 without any modification... I would have to break hard on an incline to get any kind of rub

275/70R16 should be as large as you can go without any rubbing

287/75R16.....32.8 x 11.2
275/70R16.....31.2 x 10.8

These are nominal sizes. There is some variation between manufacturers.

I am running 33s on 17x9 aftermarket rims, stock 2 wd 2000 5.4 extended cab. No problem on the highway but the fronts scrape when off road. Would recommend smaller unless you lift the front.
