Default tired of truck

Ok so like I'm fed up with my truck just 3 hours allll 5 wheel studs broke on the damn freeway
I got a loan of 5000 and 3000 kn the bank so I got 8000
I'm looking for new engine And maybe new suspension
So give me some ideas and thier prices

how the hell did all the studs snap? were the lugs over tight?

Well I can't tell now lol I did find one stud and I was able to twist the lug off with my hand

But Yea looking for new engine and sas

lugs could have been too loose causing the rim to have some play in it back and forth which could lead to the studs shearing off. guess thats possible.

Yea makes since so Yea the whole paswnger side fell and the truck looked like I had airbags
Sorta looked super sexy lol but not my style
Yea hmm so does lightning parts switch over or Harley ?

You'd think he would feel the vibration before they sheared, but damn that seems more likely than someone torquing all the studs to 300ft/lbs

There was no vibration all I heard/felt was
Snap snapsnapsnap (4) and paswnger side fell and we Yea luckily my fender isn't messed up lol

You would have almost had to have had some vibration if the lugs just loosened off if they just snapped it sounds like all the lugs were attached fine they were just over torqued. Have you had it worked on lately?

Also a lifetime of over torquing the lugs could have caused this. I fear this may be the cause and if that is the case you will want to have all of your studs replaced to be safe. They could be compromised.

Lug nut torque on our trucks is 150ft/lbs FWIW.

yea either way that sucks man! would of had a vibration if they were loose.
