Default Tire / Wheel question

I have a 2000 f150 xlt all stock. question can i put these tires and wheel on.
tire size 315-70-17. will they fit or will they rub inside the front wheel area?

i wouldnt go that big 33s is as big as i would go but i do nosome one that has like 305-75-17 i think those numbers r right but it looks like if he hit a hard bump that they would rub but they didnt when he turned

with stock rims and torsions turned up they would just rub the frame

You can't go that big it will rub. You can put 33s with out rubbing. Iv got 33s on my truck and it's all stock but it's really really close to rubbing on the front. But you can I wouldnt do it but it's your truck... You can crank up the torsion bars on the front to give you that extra clearance. But it will stiffen up the ride and your CV axles will go bad faster.

If you want 315s or even 305s your 7.5" rims are really too narrow. I believe most tire manufacturer recommended rim width for 315s is minimum of 8.5". If I were you I'd go with 285 or 295 at the very widest.

edit: obviously that's a recommendation, You can get them to fit but they will bulge quite a bit. I can't say if they're unsafe or anything but they're definitely not recommended.
