Question Tire Help

I have a 2001 F150 2WD Ext Cab.

Stock tires are P275/60/17 from the label on the door. I have a chance to get a set of Bridgstone Blizzaks like new from a buddy that are 245/75/17.
I found a website that compares sizes and it says that it is a total of 4.9% off from the stock size anf that my speedo will be out that much. Is that all to worry about? These tires were $1400 new and i was getting them for next to nothing. Is there anything else I need to worry about with this size?
Should I get them?
Keeping in mind that they would only be on for the winter months and not too many hiway miles.
Also the truck now has on 265/70/17's that are only .4% different than the Blizzaks.
Any input would be appreciated.

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Second, I wouldn't worry about the difference in size, just remember that your speedo is off, if your going to get a great deal go for it!
