timing chain
Great! You need a lot from what i can see. Now if you could give us some more info we'd have something to go off besides shooting in the dark.
All you've done is noticed the tick?
Does it change with rpm?
Does it change in volume if the truck is cold vs hot?
You taken it to a mechanic?
Have you torn into the engine?
What side is it coming from?
How are the headers and bolts? Rusted, stock or new and been replaced?
Have you ran it out of oil?
How many miles?
What engine?
Etc...
I'm not David Copperfield and neither is anyone else far as I can tell.
P.S. He is a famous magician if you didn't know.

Check out my thread from a few days back, some good advice on there.. I had the same problem, about to change my passenger side chain tonight. Quite an involved process but should be worth it in the end! If I have any advice, I'd say buy the entire timing kit.. I've been buying piece by piece, but itd likely be much more economical to buy the kit. Cheers!
