OK so heads are off .. i counted like 3 or 4 threads on the heads.. ( in the machineshop getting a valve job.. and checked during the HG project)

does anybody have a set of timesert tool kit I can borrow rent.. Im in the DC area. that I could possibly ship quickly?? and then Ill call timesert for the inserts themselvs Monday.. heads should be done thursday or Friday. and then I can do this voodoo magic lol

 

Why not get the machine shop to modify the plug holes in the heads ? They are off the engine already, would be so easy for them to beef the plug holes up.

 

they dont do that.. also on a budget I asked em.. lol.. i got sold a bag of crap .. when i got this truck.. I have made 1 payment.. so far.. Headgasket job timing chain was WORE OUT the tensioners and guides failed.. radiator. and of course.. tons of crap like plugs and incidentals while im doing the job 02 sensors.. NOTHING was ever done to this thing 99K on the ODO i dropped the transpan 2day to do the filter and the damn dustcover was in there.!!! from the factory. so I have alot of working going into this thing.
