We're they the same size when you compared them? If they were then u might just have some crap in the taper clean it out with some sandpaper and give it a tap with a block of wood. Not to sound stupid but did u put in in the right way? They will only go in one way. IV done the same thing before when I was in a hurry

Thanks zrock the taper seems a little fatter on the moog yes I did try putting them on the other way but I did feel a slight edge inside where the passenger didn't but still didn't fit on passenger side

i learned long ago not to count the threads when doing this. I always measure. i have found to many slight variances between parts. But measuring to the center point will always remain the same. I usually get it so close that i don't need a alignment.
Yes a alignment will bring it back to spec. you should always get a alignment done anyway. Also don't cheep out on the shop doing it. I had a tire wearing issue on my 95 where it was burning the outside edge off my driver side tire quickly. Took it to a shop and according to their machine my truck was in spec. Though it may have just been the old crappy tires on it and bought a new set. Less than 500km the tire was destroyed. Showed a buddy the alignment sheet and he said the same thing that it was within spec. All i can figure is they put the heads on wrong. New set of tires and a few adjustments and been over a year on the tires with no wear,
