On a 97 4.6, they should be near the coil packs.

I see them, how do i check if thwy are functioning properly, this problem just occured out of the blue one day while i was driving

Did you look at them ? That's the first thing you do. Like I said before wires like to break at the capacitor. Are they grounded ? Like I said before....well, just go back and read again, it's easier lol.

I also posted to run it without the belt, case you missed it.

When you test without the belt, make sure the engine has cooled completely first. Then take it for a short drive. Whatever you do , don't let it heat up. You just testing for noise. If it goes away, then you most likley have a bad pulley under load.

Your post , well, I don't think your sure it's electrical. It would help if you can differentiate. If you can't ...it's too difficult to tell from here. A vid is a good idea.

Yeah.... that's exactly why I asked for a video. Can't tell if it's electrical noise, or a squeaky pedal... hell... I've heard vacuum leaks make some strange noise too.
