Throttle body cleaning ?

Throttle body cleaning ?
I know it says right on my throttle body not to clean it cause of the coating but just from looking in I can tell there is a ton of gunk and buildup in there . Most like from the 170k + miles I have on the 4.6L . What is everyone's opinion or advice on this ? Would regular throttle body cleaner be a no go ?

A normal cleaning every couple years won't do anything to the finish. It's metal, rust may start after a few hundred cleanings. Like i said, nothing to worry bout. Clean it and be done.
