i heard spacers DO work, only on certain vehicles. but i could be wrong.
its because the path the air takes into the upper and lower intakes turns too much on our trucks for the spacer to spin the air in the most effective way.

just wish there were chips and such fr my age truck... haha

IMO if your running the stock airbox then a TBS won't produce much (if any) noticable gains. If your using a TBS and a CAI then you might "feel" some low end power. Not sure about a TBS with a CAI and exhaust system...might feel something more. Honestly, I don't think they are worth it unless you like the whistle sound. It's like trying to drink out of a longer straw...

I think they only work good on carbureted vehicles

Where the fuel mixture is actually involved with the spacer. It "swirls the air and fuel together, better" i guess.

yea thats the explanation for my post - gives more room for the air and fuel to mix better
