Cant wait to see the bill for this one anyone have any suggestions as to new,used motor, has anyone swapped a 5.4 any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated.

 

... there is a guy on here i noticed his signature said...4.6 to 5.4 swap notes...... you should try to find them..ill look buy i cant promise anything... i think his log in name is JLC....or somthing like that

 

just curious but did the engine give you any warning signs before going out?
Or was it running and sounding great up until that point?

thanks guys and yeah it had a slight tick for about a month i had been checking the oil about every day or two right before it broke the girlfriend was driving it and who knows what went on when it died. i got in it and the radio was pretty much all the way up soo i am guessing it got pretty loud before the motor stopped.
