Yeppers. This thing has dog$4it copilot on it.

I bought the exact same stick of Corsair that came in it, and Corsair Nvme too. The Nvme that came in it is Kingston though. So it has good parts from Nimo.

I'm editing a video right now, and I am thoroughly impressed with how fast this renders over my i7.

Yes, but from experience, it keeps turning back on. Might be an update, but it comes back on (on work computers).

EDIT: It's probably group policy, now that I am thinking about it - the policy gets pushed out a couple times a week. I'll give it a go and see if it comes back on with this new PC.

One of the biggest reasons that I left my old job was benefits. I still have access to my old plan, so I looked up what the cost is for rotator cuff surgery between the two. It's a HUGE difference.

Update prob needs to be switched off as well. I've had to that w/others to keep the version that works best for me. Stays off that way when you want it to.

So two sticks not matched ? If that's still a thing.

Could you order that machine w/more mem.

Does the fan kick up rendering?

Yes you can get it with more. I thought this would be more cost effective. It has 2 ram slots, (it can handle 256GB). It came with a single stick of 16 in it. I bought another single stick of 16 for 120 through Best Buy. Also a 2TB secondary drive. Another note... it only comes with Win 11 Home, so I bought a Pro license for it.

There is a 2nd fan that kicks on when it renders, but it's not very loud. It also doesn't get NEARLY as hot as my i7 Lenovo.

Maybe the 2nd drive will give it more heat. We'll see!

Only complaint is the speakers are somewhat weak. I am going to try and remedy that with some spare parts from a Lenovo.
