Never mik'ed it. Ported polished the intake on that motor. Gasket matched and knifed the intake as well. All just for the heck of it...and it still ran real good!

You couldn't purchase a 70mm for these trucks back then. BBK would gladly sell you one though. However it was reverse pull and wouldn't work on these trucks. They might make one now though.

I gave it ago, thought I could gut the factory shaft/hardware and transfer to the BBK. Denied...totally wasted 20 minutes of my time..

I got home tonight and put the Monroe's on the Escape. What a world of difference. Their Quick-Strut's are really good stuff.
