Checked on the travel trailer last Thursday and I'm still here. Apparently the skylight leaked enough to just about fill the shower tank. Glad I happened by. Flipped on the 100 amp service and it didn't like that. Sounded like the fire station going off...killed the power.
Anyway , long story short. heading back...mini vacation from from hell. Man, why would anyone purchase one of these things ?!?....JUNK! From day one.
There's nothing wrong with my Galaxy Watch 4C, but I couldn't resist at this price!
Yes, the GW 7 is out and a bit more capable, but I don't like the styling as much as the 6C with the bezel, it's only available in green and cream (blech!). I also think the bezel, besides looking better, protects the watch face a bit. I like the stainless steel vs. aluminum construction, and I saved some coin to boot.
Replacing the fog lights doesn't require grille removal (at least not in the 99-03 trucks) as they're accessed from underneath. Installing lights behind the grille like my Hellas, though, does.
Hmmm. Mine's an '01. Of course, some videographer shade trees could be in error, but the guy said from below required more stuff to remove. I have not acquired the "skid plate" yet.
The Hellas will have to wait until after the fogs, but the single 100W in my 7" round on my '72 cafe racer Honda 750 had one. It was grrrrreat at 10 hrs of sustained 130+, mostly at night.
Sorry to hear that, Brew. I think T/T's have have got to be made from the scraps of mobile homes.
Yes a TT. Purchased from the factory @ Grand Design , Middlebury Indiana back in fall 2017. I researched manufacturer and most definitely one who stood behind it and 4 season units (sub -zero). Manufacturer has been great. Sub zero ? It does well at 15* F. Below that it's a little tougher. It's handled 30 below wind chills for a short time. I've spent the first winter in it when new...it was alright. Just owning that thing seems like a full job at times. I guess it wouldn't be so bad If I still owned a shop or at least a pole barn to stuff it in. I do have a plan for it I guess, but man it's worse than owning a boat. Depends on the boat I guess lol.
It was Saturday not Thursday btw.. that's when all the fun started.. Skylight cracked at 3 of the 4 corners. Small stress cracks. Can't see them at night unless you get on the roof, but you def see during the day with sun on them. I don't think it leaked for long, it's been 4 or 5 months and it didn't flood`out but there was a lot more in the holding tank...I left it w/RV antifreeze 5 months back. Anyway, so have to replace the outer dome, then do all that flashing and caulking...basically same a rubber roof repair, but it's not rubber (it's a TPO roof). Not the ideal time of year.
In the mean time, had to bypass the harness , lots of wiring/sensor issues. Some of the breakers also went out. Surge protectors helped, but they didn't protect everything and I good main. What happened? Corrosion`somewhere. I've only been able to narrow it down enough to place a proper by-pass. I used scrap cable I saved from past projects for that..my old scraps were much better than the stuff the manufacturer used. Still have a few roles OFC 100% 600v copper in the arsenal. I'm a hoarder with the good stuff.
Anyway, removed the inner portion of the skylight and dried out the wet stuff for now.. I may use eternal bond to temp stop the water intrusion for now as I'm 100% that will work....until I have everything for the repair. The wiring is time consuming but at least I enjoy that a little. Going through the 350 was more of a challenge..it was a mess. That was big in the end, saved gobbs on that investroid. No rust yet.
