I am contemplating replacing my interior, but can't decide whether to eliminate the middle seat and do two buckets with a custom center console or do 40-20-40 bench to maintain the center seat. It's a regular cab 4.2 with a standard transmission, custom painted, shaved tailgate, antenna, and tonneau. Also if anyone has put a custom aftermarket interior in their truck I'd really appreciate some input and direction.

 

I'd do two buckets with a custom subwoofer box/center console. How often do you actually have someone in the center seat?

 

That's the thing I was sold on that idea until I started dating this girl who has a four year old and they are both rather amazing, and like usual I drive everywhere, well because I love my truck and I love driving. they're the reason the idea even cane about. Since the little one is four, she fits perfect in the middle seat.

I took the factory buckets out and installed Corbeau buckets with factory center console. I have a six year old as well and got tired of never being able to to take the family out so I bought a center seat from a 08 Harley edition with the 40/20/40 set up off e-bay for cheap and installed it. Works and looks great even came with its own seatbelt and was a fairly easy install.
