I feel like I got "jacked".....
Only 3 of 5 boxes came today.
Missing 1/2 the lift, and the motor/pump assy.
Tracking # said Perry Ohio this morning @ 6:30am.
Maybe tomorrow, didn't expect a Sunday delivery in the 1st place, not sure how late they deliver today.




The truck adaptor set and the wall hanging brackets came in 2 separate boxes.

 

Funny thing started today... when the truck is idling, the tach cuts in and out. Engine is running fine, so clearly something electrical on the tach circuit. I've only seen it do it at idle. The only things I can think of are interference cause by connecting the VSS wire to my new radio, or maybe the cluster plug is not clipped in all the way. Thoughts?

1969 RS/SS 396 4-spd.
A 396 was in the trunk in pieces, it's the correct high-performance block but it's been decked.
So, no way to prove it's the correct #'s matching engine.
The 396 sat in front of a Muncie 4-spd. trans so the Borg-Warner was not the right trans.
It's getting put back together stock, and he will drive it till he sells it.
We dropped the 396 and all the parts off at the engine builder in February.
Bob is calling them tomorrow morning to see what's up with it.

 

Wow, I'm so jealous of all that room you have there. It used to be great fun having all the guys over to work on a projects together. That was probably half the fun even having cool cars. Once I didn't have a big garage, my friends stopped coming to my house, lol.

 

Mines an oversized 2.5 car garage.
That is a buddy of ours pole barn behind his house.
I wish I had that room also.
