JP, are the two glide bolts tight? Looks like those might be loose. It looks like all of your hardware is there.

White, I was wondering the same thing so I checked both sides and all four are nice and snug. It's almost like the bolts are too small in diameter and allowing play..

My other thought is that the pads look like they have some space between them and the slides on the bracket and I'm wondering if the PO used the wrong pads and now that they are worn they are allowing for movement of the caliper.

Cab is back on the frame and i do not know if the pic does it justice but this thing is TALL. 2" lift with new springs. Still sitting on 33s but will be 37s when shes done. Will have to move it over 1 bay before that or else it wont fit out of the garage door. Transmission and transfer case have been torn down completely and refreshed with new bearings where needed and new seals. Paint is drying but will grab pics of them tomorrow. Steering box is getting rebuilt by bluetop and I am currently cleaning up the interior of the cab and working towards putting the engine bay back together.

2100 - Glad to see things coming along!

J - Sorry I'm not going to be much help with your questions, but it's nice to see you here.

All - I like to catch some of Donut Media's stuff once in awhile. This was a good one (especially since they came to Colo.... went to New Mexico... for the wring-outs).
I may go back and watch the build series.

Mornin' Bear. Hope you have a great one!

I shoulda just stayed home today... not feeling tip top. I did a virtual visit yesterday, and the doctor said I probably have a virus. Told me to go get a COVID test until I told her my Wife and oldest daughter both tested negative twice, and they are who got me sick. Oh well, I'm here now. I've been up since 2am, so I hope this Dr. Pepper kicks in. My boss in the next office over sounds like he's sick too.... haven't talked to him yet though - just judging off sounds, LOL. Something is definitely making the rounds in UT right now.

Good morning Bear and all.

White - You were supposed to avoid that bug! Hope you don't get it full bore. I was awake from 2AM until about 4:30 when I was finally able to doze off a bit again. The wind whipping around outside didn't help, but it was nothing like you had! Dr. Pepper sounds like a good idea to me, too.

I went over and read your build thread (well, some of it).

Great job.

I was extra nervous about that wind storm... it was the first real wind with the new roof. That tree crashing on it really pisses me off the more I dwell on it.

Also, speaking of the roof - I did poke my head up in the attic during the wind, just making sure I didn't see anything up there that took damage from the hit. Let's just say those ridge vents allow A LOT more ventilation.
