But mann, like I was telling AK earlier, I have a regular tire ( P series C rated) out in the shed I've been saving. Comparing one of the new ones to it, - there is no comparison. The new ones are heavy and rigid, like it's a military type tire, - bullet proof or whatnot. I was expecting a heavy duty tire, but not on this obvious. There has to be some kind of downfall or trade off I haven't found yet. Did you notice any mileage change worth mentioning ?
Nope I've never ever had an issue with them wearing funny, but I always maintained the rotations, alignment and psi. Something I'm sure you won't have a problem with.

The tires are a lot more heavy duty, yours at 50lbs isn't bad at all. The bfgs I run are 59 I believe but I also run 285s. The nittos I had were almost 80lbs a piece! With you running 265s I bet you will hardly feel any difference in performance, and you'll probably take a small hit on mpgs.

With that said, I average about 15 mpg in my truck, that's with the 285s and my truck with toolbox, headache rack and sound system weighs in at 6100 lbs. She's a fatty, I only have 400 lbs worth of payload left (legally). I also have a 3.55 ls rear.

The tire is going to feel stiffer, but In a good way IMO. The road handling is much improved, and if you ever tow or load the bed heavy you will notice how much better the truck feels planted. I towed 10k one time while moving and I was more worried about the front wheels coming off the ground than the sway of the truck.

Yea I have the front end about perfect. Newer moogs and control arms and just popped all 4 tie rods, removed the assemblies from the truck in order to get the jam nuts loose lol (they gave me a hard time, had to get them cherry red and cooked the grease so, - I re-packed each joint before they went back in) and they are in perfect shape. So with front end solid, Fox Shocks and those 7700 calipers it should ride and brake golden. My bar crank is 22.5" so it's not too bad over chuck holes and sharp elevation changes. Since I added the shocks I can hear the front end hit the hard stuff but I don't feel it. When it hits it's thump vs that nasty bang....know what I mean, it hits them like a new ride would. It banged with the Bilstiens, - at times the front end would skip to one side or the other. So yea, she's riding much better now than did a year ago.

I hope everyone has a great year coming! Looks like I'm going to pick up a new to me 2014 John deere gator. Had to either spend it and write it off or keep it and get taxed on it.

Same here, except for the Gator, - that would be fun, I like the way you talked yourself into it...made it practical lol.

Lol Yeh i guess I kinda did. It also has a custom dog box for the bed so I can get my German Short Hair pointers out in the wood deeper to find some birds.

Yes, -It's definitely a must now. Aren't those things 4WD ? Wish I could warrant one, like say fer heading in the forest for firewood. Screwy Muskrats, keep steeling my wood!

They are indeed 4wd. It sounds like may have just justified it too. Lol
