2100, I just put the headphones on.... and I hate to tell you this, but that sounds down low to me.... trans or main bearing maybe. Although, I can't explain why it would not change sound or rhythm with changing RPM... seems like a weird deal. No wonder you can't figure it out, lol.
Yeah that was my original fear was transmission. But my rudimentary diagnosing didn't find any problems and here we are a few months later with nothing changed lol. Figured if it was something that major then it would've shown itself like kool-aid man thru a wall. That's why I haven't been too concerned since it hasn't gotten worse... but boy do I hate playing Russian roulette with this. Also drives me crazy just not being able to diagnose something...

This is what it looked like. The bed gets finished next week, finally. Had to wait for him to get off a 28 day work shift. Now he gets 2 weeks off.

I now see what you mean about the 2WD valence. That just might work!.
I drove it today and got asked too many times what happened so I had to do something. I think I am going to give the valance a shot and see how it fits.

When I had my reg cab with 16s I thought 285s were a perfect fit. Hopefully it will get me by for a day or two without so many questions.

She definitely took a lick and brought me home so I am absolutely a believer in Ford turf. When the new front end goes on a celebratory cigar may be just about right for the occasion.

Good morning thinkers- man, take a day or two off and look what happens- JP- glad your ok man!- and the old girl dont look too awful bad-
AK- i like those rims- too bad they dont come in 17’s- but yea, needs more tire- (imo- rwl’s would look sharp, too)
White,2100- hope you guys find the right parts!-this chineese crap is overwhelming-
And, BTW- there is NOTHING wrong with CW McCall- (his best music was NOT Convoy!)
Brew- there is nothing wrong being off topic- there are some good ‘ol boys on an island over there!
Ok, guys- back to the salt mine today!- be safe fellers!

CW McCall... I remember laughing my azz off the first time I heard Convoy. Never been a huge country fan, but I've been listening to Aaron Lewis quite a bit lately. I get a CW McCall feel on these two:

Bear, thank you sir. She deserves a facelift after this ordeal.
White, I was a huge staind fan back in hs and heard one of his country songs the other day and was pretty surprised. He might honestly get me into country. Lol
