Default Are these custom or OEM?

Came across these seats on ebay this morning

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-20...item35af1a4789

Now I've seen the unique cloth seats for the 02-04 Heritage Editions, but I've never seen a set of leather ones. The patch on the seat back and lack of power/heated options makes me think someone had their OEM ones wrapped in leather. Anyone else ever seen a set like this?

Those are the heritage seats. I have only seen them once in a 04 that was decked out with heritage badges from Ford.

I know that, I've just never seen them in leather and never saw leather as an option iin the REAL Anniversary Heritage edition that was produced from 02-04

I thought the heritage was only made for 2004 as a closing technique for this generation of ford to prep for the new generation? Anyways yeah just look at the actual listing, and you will notice the description entails of this being stripped straight out of a heritage edition.

I'm not sure why Ford call all 04's Heritage editions when they had been producing the real Heritage Edition starting in 02'.

It was actually among the rarest of packages offered by Ford. It was available in only black combination schemes... black/gold, black/red, and black/grey. The interiors were all black with color matched seats. You also got the Lightning steering wheel and STX headlights (late 03'+)

Either way, I never saw leather as an option and judging by the simple looking patch design, I'm leaning towards these being custom upholstered in leather to have an OEM look... sure, they were pulled from an HE, but who's to say the owner didn't have it done beforehand?
