Default Theft light flashing

Hey yall I've had some problems with my truck starting and sometimes the theft light will be flashing while I'm driving could this be causing my starting issues? Thanks in advance

Yes. It's your pats messing up. Pats is the passive anti theft system.

No lol. But someone that knows will reply. I believe maybe it's your key or your Pcm. Try using another key?

The truck only came with one key lol but hopefully it's just the key going bad

Next time it happens, wait for it to stop rapid flashing. After it does, it'll flash a 2 digit code similar to how the airbag does. I was able to use that code to solve my PATS issue on my last truck. It was a simple $5 PCM relay.
