Ive had to park my truck. 2003 with 4.6.Started tapping loudly and oil pressure dropped. I would like to change out my oil pump. Is there any videos or step by step help here. Only vehicle so got to fix now. 2G 842 AC motor

 

Your knock is probably not oil pump related. Probably rod bearing but also could be main bearing. But none the less once you have a rod knocking it's time for a complete overhaul or buy used motor.

Tapping vs knocking are different sounds and different issues. Which one is it? You mention both.
