Default Taillight and third brake

Does anyone know, if a 2008-2015 F250 tail lights and third brake fit on a 1999 f150 XLT

takes some modification on the tail lights, but yes they do. Not sure about the third break light though.

That looks sweet, and what kind of modification are you talking about?

The tail lights themselves require no modifications. You have to the trim the upper bed side support to clear the reverse lamp socket. The third brake light will not work at all.

Carcrazygts2 is spot on like always. And I prefer the more modern look compared to most of the aftermarket ones you can get.

Quite easy. Can of VHT niteshades. and a can of Duplicolor Wheel Clear. Just clean the lense Depending on how dark you want them. But I used 3 light coats and 1 medium wet coat. THen let them cure for 24hours. Then 3 light coats of clear with 15 minutes in between each coat. Then 2 medium wet coats. Let those cure for 2-3 days. To get the luster and clarity I wetsanded with 1200 to start and finish sanding with 2000. Polished out with a 3" low speed buffer and 3M ultrafine cutting compound.

By the way your truck looks great, I was thinking about getting smoked leds for the tail lights.
