Hey fella's,

I have a 2000 XLT and the drivers side tailgate hinge came loose. The GF is driving the truck so I didn't get a good look at it but it seems the weld broke. Other than a new weld or a new tailgate, any ideas?

if it's the post that broke off you'll need some welding I would think, as the tailgate attaches to it.

Buying a new gate won't solve you're issue, you'll just have two tailgates that won't attach.
