Tailgate dilemma

I lack a tailgate on the 98 flare side I bought. Are the tailgates interchangeable between the two bed styles?

No. Flaresides and SuperCrews use the same tailgate. The Explorer Sportrac will also fit these beds. The stylesides only fit the stylesides and the 99 up SuperDuty.
