I need a tailgate for a 2003 Ford F150 extended cab long wheelbase, what years will fit?

 

depends on what truck you have. Flareside, Styleside, or Supercrew. Flaresides and SuperCrew''s tailgates interchange. Stylesides 97-04H, 99 to 2016 SuperDuty tailgates will work. 08 and up need an new bracket, but up to 07 they direct bolt.

 

To add to AK's excellent (as usual) post, some of the Super Duty's have a step in the tail gate, is that's a feature you'd like.
