Default Synthetic oil

Hello everybody I am new to this forum and i have a question about oil changes. With conventional oil it is recommended that I change the oil every 5,000km(3100m) but the last oil change i had and it was also the first I Put full synthetic in it. When would you recommend changing it.

Using synthetic oil doesn't necessarily mean that you can go longer in between oil changes..

What oil did you use? Every oil has a base TBN value that starts depleting as soon as you put it in. Most marketed synthetics can go 5000+ miles before TBN drops too low, but the only way to know is to get oil analysis if you are wanting to extend your drain interval.
