Default Swapping gauge panels

Hey everyone. I've got a 1999 XL with the auto transmission. It didn't come with a tach. If I were to pick up a gauge panel from a manual with the tach, would it work in my truck? Did Ford include the appropriate wiring and senders in every truck to allow this to work?

Any information is appreciated. Thanks, Darren.

You have PATS. You will need to swap the PATS board off the back of your old one. But yes it will work.

Thanks. So I can swap the circuit board from my current panel to the new panel and not have to get it reprogrammed at the dealer?
