Default swap 5.4L for lightning engine

I know this question has been asked before but i'm new so sorry haha, just curious if anyone out there has any hints on how this is done the easiest or if its just a huge nightmare and not worth the time and money, thx

It's the same engine, you just have to add the supercharger stuff. You can find full kits on eBay taken off with all you need.

The wiring, ECM, fuel pump and engine bay setup are all different. The easiest way is to have the lightning right next to your truck.

ok that doesnt sound too bad, is there any super chargers out there that anyone recommends to just put on the stock 5.4L or will that just rip my engine to pieces.

^one off a lightning would be perfectly safe if you also changed all the other stuff. But i don't know any aftermarket places that make one for a 97-03. 04-08 rousch would be the way to go.
