they seem ridiculously overpriced.. i was just browsing autoanything.. i could really use a set.. but why so much money for something so simple?

which ones should i put on an extended cab 4x4 5.4?
i sometimes.. well.. lets say exceed the gvwr by a lot.. why would they offer a "medium" duty option while also telling you to not exceed the gvwr? clearly if you need them in the first place you are pretty much close to exceeding you gvwr anyway, so why light duty and medium duty?

im sure there must be a much cheaper off brand or something that is just as well made that everyone knows about and uses??
