I just got a superchips cortex 1950 for my 99 f150. its a 4.6 with auto trans. anyone else run this tuner? i been playing around with it, but wondering if anyone has found a good tune set up? or what anyone thinks is the best tune to use day to day? i didn't like the 87 tune. im running the stock with options but dont see much difference. anyone know what each tune does? ha so many options...

 

Just installed the "fuel saver" program. How do you like it? What program are you running now?

 

I had it. Sold it lol. I just didnt feel like I gained anything. I bought a Edge, sold it and ended up with a bully dog.

 

I have it, Running the fuel saver program I got 20mpg on the highway yesterday, which I was quite happy with. I havent played around with the performance ones at all yet.

 

I got it. run 87 octane and see difference. Car is accelerating faster when I press a gas pedal. I'm going to try performance tune with 91 octane
