i have the opportunity to pick up a supercharger often 01 4.6 COBRA for $200

The downside it is a 4.6 I have a 5.4 I don't know if it will fit not to Familia between the two motors I've never owned a 4.6

It probably won't fit but I don't know if eaton or any other company sells anything to make it work any insight greatly appreciated

Err the 01 Cobra was naturally aspirated, didn't have a factory blower. Only the 03/04 Terminator Cobra had a factory eaton blower.

It is off a terminator edition I probably have the year wrong its a 4.6 it had the eaton supercharger on it but the dude bought a whipple so he had no use for the eaton and didn't wanna deal with Craigslist. so I just asked what he did with the eaton and he said he bought the car and the supercharger in the same day with 0 miles on it

Gotcha. Yeah that's an eaton blower then off the 03/04 year then. No idea of how it could bolt on myself though

I'm not 100% but I don't believe it would work. Ive even ready that Superchargers for mustang 4.6's won't even work on F150 4.6's because they mount differently in some way. I'm almost certain they don't even make Superchargers for 4.6 F150s

Not entirely true. If it`s not a direct bolt on, then you could always fabricate something up to make it work. Someone on here did a 4.2L supercharger. And that for sure was not a direct bolt on.

As long as it spits out enough pressure to actually hit the high singles, low teens, you`ll be good, and I`m fairly confident it will.

You can always just buy the supercharger and then flip it for a profit or something
