i actually pulled them off a semi at a local junk yard, they work very well and cost ALOT less then off the shelf

yeah i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for CB antennas because new ones can cost as much as $60 a piece and i got mine for $4 total, and on top of that the ones off the semis are usually tuned when you get them

CB antennas can get much higher than 60 bucks. I saw one for 400ish at a truck stop last week

Lol, so I saved even more money, and its even more reason to buy them of a truck, and there are alot of trucks that have very nice antennas

yup! And if you can score the radio itself they might have a linear amp attached. I would almost bet my life the scrap yards would take the radios though.
