So i am planning on turning my 2003 Screw into an awesome camping machine. I have been lookning into a lot of these SUV rooftop tents, and am pretty impressed. So far i am going to be trying to get a removable setup so it doesnt have to chill on the roof all the time. I will try to find some picks of about how i want to set it all up.

I want this tent, its called the mombasa overland plus


I want to build it on this headache/lumber rack


the back upright slides to the back and looks like this


which should make a perfect platform.

I also want to put lights on it with solar charger trickle chargers for a couple extra batteries.

I just have a stock red and black trim with gray rocker panels. Should look pretty awesome especially if i can get the rack in the powder coated version

 

Haha that's kinda nifty. Why need a house when you your truck and a tent!
