It has been a long time since i have posted on here. A few years ago I did a 2" torsion lift on my f150 and got some 295 75r16 nitto terra grapplers on it. I have been happy with it for a while but now I think im ready to switch it up. I have about a year left on those tires and I am looking for suggestions on a new setup. My current lift makes for a stiff ride and im thinking i would like to go with a RCX 5" or a Zone 6" lift kit. My goal is to try to bring the ride closer to the factory feel. Im also wanting to try to for 315 75r16 tires (brand undecided)

I originally really wanted to buy a new truck but now im leaning toward fixing up my 97 and buying a mustang to keep the miles off of my f150. I would prefer to use it for hunting and pulling my boat mainly.

what are the opinions on the suggested lift kits. I dont wheel much so i dont need a high dollar setup. Most of the miles on my truck are freeway and mountain roads. therefore i mainly want a setup that looks good and rides good on the freeway. The nitto terra grapplers have been nice but im open to new suggestions as well. Not looking for a mud terrain but i want an agressive tread like the nittos. I will add that i am not against going with another set of 33's if they will look good with the selected lift kit

You can either go for the suspension or a body. Body lifts are ALOT cheaper. I have 5" suspension and a 3" body. If you are looking just to go up a little bit in height I would just think about a body lift.

Go ***** to the wall and get Deaver Springs and some long body shocks for the rear and a camburg or Dixon bros long travel kit up front and have a lifted truck that rides silky smooth.

That's my plan at least...

Edit: Just saw your comment about not wheeling much so disregard above statement cause that ain't cheap.

Looking for suspension lift only, I'm not a fan of body lifts. I'm leaning toward the Zone 6" with 315 75r16 tires and possibly some wheel spacers. Im not ruling out the rcx 5" kit. I know there has to be people on here running those lift kits.

New mustang or ???

I know you want suspension, but I'd go body lift too... I'd start with body and then go to suspension... They complement each other equally as well...

By all means a suspension is cool, but if it's going to be set back for hunting and pulling the boat, while you're going to have expenses for another vehicle (mustang) save your money and do the BL...

looking at a newer mustang. Between like 03-07. If i get an older one, air condition is a must around here. We regularly hit over 110-115 degrees in the summer
