Ok here it goes i have a 2001 4.6L Auto 4x4 and this is the second time when returning home that my throttle just revs up and stay in 2nd gear. when i park it it stays revving at around 2000 rpms does anyone have a clue on whats going on

 

dirty throttle body. some dirt may be preventing the butterfly from closing. or bad idle air control.

 

well i dont know about that with it being EFI and i had that cover off but cant tell what the hells going on

 

The idle air control might have some carbon build up and causing it to stick.
