The upper door latch on the driver's side rear door of my 2002 Super Cab will not disengage/unlatch. As I understand it, the problem is too much slack in the release cable. Any ideas on a good fix for this problem? If the answer is replacing the mechanism, has anyone done that and is it something I could do my self?
