Strickly Radiator Flush
Fella's...and ladies,
1999 F-150 5.4
I've got my engine intake manifold out. So the upper radiator hose is also out.
My question is simply: Can't I use a garden hose and run it through the upper port hole to flush ONLY the radiator or should I still run it through the coolant fill reservoir or should I have the hose reattached before flushing at all?
I'll do a system super flush once I have the vehicle together and running too.
Thanks!

I wouldn't do anything but the rad right now. The the intake off, you'll get water down in the heads, crankcase. I would recommend getting a bottle of rad flush and letting it sit in there for a bit (follow the directions).
