Default Strange motor "brake" feeling

Since im sitting here something else I have been meaning to ask. Going about 60+ on a highway, if I touch the gas it goes normal, but if I let off the motor sort of kicks down.I dont think its the transmission. Its sort of feels like there is a very light "brake" in the motor. Just enough you feel it in your seat. Pressing the gas again any amount gets rid of it. Only happens when cruising and maintaining highway speed. I am no expert and it does this no other time. Maybe its normal, never owned an engine this big so maybe its part of it.

Is this a problem. I drive the highway maybe once every few months, so I always forget to ask about it. Never notice it under highway cruising speed.

Thats what I figured since otherwise it runs like a dream. Just never drive highway and ever other car I owned when i was younger was a Cavalier or smaller hehe.

I still remember driving it home when I bought it. Felt like driving a tank.

Also have to remember aerodynamics come into play. A slick car can coast much easier on the interstate than a heavy brick of a truck.
