straight pipes

Default straight pipes

Im a new user here and i have a question

i have a 97 f150 single cab short bed with the 4.6L automatic
i was wondering if it would run ok with all the cateletic converters and no muffler just straight out???

I don't know much about it but I have a 97 F250 LD that I did that to and it runs fine and sounds great. I would advise runing a pipe out the other side also because when all the sound comes out the one side it sounds wiered. But anyway I think it will work's fine. Also make sure you run a pipe out from under the truck so the exhause fumes don't gather under the truck.

Yes, I have true dual straight pipes on mine with the stock cats and a h pipe.

when they went to the new f150 in 2004 the 4.6 v8 sounds diffrent straight pipe then the 2003 down 4.6 v8
