Hey guys i just installed my new CCFL halo headlights and was wondering if there was a way to disable the flashing lights part when you lock the truck. It honks and every light on the truck flashes. Reason i need to disable is because i think this shortens the lifespan of the halo rings, and if i do get HID bulbs in the future i know it can cause them to blow. Thanks!

I got hid kits in my truck and have ran hid lights for a long time now and I use my lock remote and let them flash and it hasn't hurt them yet had my old bulbs 2 years before one blew and I'm still running those same ballest now. People have told me flashing the hid bulbs will blow them and me being a smart ***** would say really? And start flashing them like crazy lol they never blew

 

So you think the ccfl lamps flashing like that would be any different?
