Default stock wheel tire option...?

Hey guys! I tried searching for a thread that shows what tires will fit on the stock wheels but I couldn't find any

Anyway, I have a 2001 Screw XLT w/ 16" wheels. It has 255/70/16 on them now. Can I put 265/75/16 on them, or maybe 275/75/16? I'm planning to lift it with the 'Rough Country' Suspension kit (spindles and block in the back).

Thanks for the help

I have 275/75/17's on my Scab. I have plenty of clearance. Mine says on the door the original tire size was also 255/70R16 and I had no problems.

Running 265/75R16 on our 2002 SCab XLT
Running 285/70R17 on our 2002 SCrew Lariat FX4
Had 265/75R16 on the 2003 SCrew XLT we had until last August.

You should be fine with 285/70R16, could probably get away with 285/75R16 too.
